I create a wide variety of different drapes and options with virtually any material you desire and in any size that you need. Luxurious, handmade, custom draperies can transform a space into an oasis. Window treatments bring a room together and create a harmonious balance. They also offer functional control of temperature and lighting.
My workspace features a 15 ft long table and four machines. This is where the magic takes place. My process is one that I have fine-tuned over the years of designing and hand creating draperies for my discerning clients. Before I begin, I work with a client to ensure that the choice of fabrics is appropriate for what they desire. This attention to detail and the offerings of different fabrics, including silks, sheer, high quality linens of all types are what set me apart from others that create custom draperies.
Once a client has chosen a fabric, I cut on and match the fabric of the pattern to ensure that is clean and a perfect cut. After the fabric is cut and is ready to be worked with, I play with the design details that are desired. For instance, with pleats, I work with the fabric to ensure that I can pleat on the pattern. A tell-tale sign of bad quality is when a pleat does not match the pattern and land in the right place. Matching a pattern is one of my favorite parts of the process of design.
With any fabric, I can do an edge trim or banding if you desire. No matter what you are looking for whether it be roman shades, butterfly swags, valances, European pleats, custom side panels with sheer draperies, box pleats, pinch pleats, black out curtains, or a new idea, I can make it happen.
